Hi my loves, it’s Mandy! I am the CEO of Caked by Mandy LLC located in Brooklyn, NY. I started baking when I was a little girl. I’ve always had an interest in baking. Seeing my mom bake cakes every now and then on the weekends, I wanted to be able to do it for myself. For years, I was always the girl that baked for my friends and family, making things like cupcakes, brownies and cookies. In 2016, I decorated my first custom cake for a family member and the requests for cakes began to pour in shortly after. This was the start of my business. Initially, my business was called Pastries by Mandy but when custom cakes became my specialty, I came up with Caked by Mandy and it was a much better fit.

 

I earned my bachelor degree in Hospitality Management from CUNY City College of Technology, where I was able to gain more knowledge of my craft by taking baking and confectionary courses. Caked by Mandy specializes in buttercream custom cakes and we continue to keep up with the current trends. Being able to run this successful cake business has been a blessing for me. Not many people get to say they do what they love and I’m blessed to say that this is my journey.
